Ukraine and Estonia in The Conversation

I recently published two commentaries in The Conversation related to my research. The first article, co-authored with Ralph Clem, draws on a recent survey we conducted in Ukraine. We find evidence of increasing unity in Ukraine, not only on issues of national identity, but also on substantive policy issues. The findings challenge longstanding narratives about Ukraine as a divided country.

The second article juxtaposes the experiences of Estonia and US states in the management of election data. Estonia's robust e-governance system permits extensive data sharing, enhancing security, efficiency, and access. I argue that US states - particularly those that have withdrawn from the ERIC system - have undermined the integrity of their own elections.
